Norfolk office managing partner John Padgett spoke at the Association of Ship Brokers & Agents’ 10th Annual Cargo Conference in Miami Beach on Sept. 28.
His presentation, titled "Expansion of Panama Canal – A Ripple or Tsunami?," addressed the expansion of the Panama Canal, its effects on world trade and what supply chain managers need to know about the potential changes in trade patterns. John participated in a panel along with members of Goldman Sachs, Moran Towing Corporation and Marsoft Incorporated.
