Cristin Traylor Discusses E-Discovery Trends With Legal Tech News

December 28, 2016

McGuireWoods counsel Cristin Traylor, who manages the firm’s Richmond E-Discovery Review Center, commented in a Legal Tech News article discussing e-discovery trends on the horizon for 2017.

The Dec. 28 article, “Is E-Discovery Going Back to the Future in 2017?” details five growing e-discovery trends, including email threading, early case assessment, the expansion of the “Internet of things,” cloud-based e-discovery, and the use of advanced analytics and technology-assisted review.

"Email threading and producing only the most inclusive emails will become the standard in the industry," Traylor said. "Counsel will no longer discuss this option with the other side, as it will be understood that producing only inclusive emails is the default protocol."
