John Henderson Named Senior Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America

August 16, 2017

Dallas partner John Henderson has been designated as a senior fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a distinction shared by less than one-half of 1 percent of all U.S. lawyers.

An acclaimed litigator with more than 40 years’ experience in matters involving complicated scientific issues, Henderson advises clients in high-stakes mass tort and product liability cases. He has served as national trial counsel and coordinating counsel for makers of medical devices, chemicals, cars and pharmaceuticals. He also counsels clients on crisis communications and media relations strategy in high-profile litigation matters.

He joined McGuireWoods in Dallas last month from Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker.

The LCA is a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society. Fellowship in it is by invitation only, based on excellence and accomplishment in litigation and a superior ethical reputation. Elevation to senior fellow is reserved for litigators who have demonstrated advanced commitment to and support of the LCA, Diversity Law Institute and Trial Law Institute.

Henderson is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the International Association of Defense Counsel, and he is a life fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
