Texas Lawyer, The Texas Lawbook and other media outlets covered the arrival of McGuireWoods partner Garrett Johnston, who joined the firm’s private equity team in Houston on March 29, 2021.
Johnston told Texas Lawyer he expects his practice to grow at McGuireWoods because of the firm’s depth in middle-market private equity and its independent sponsor initiative connecting private equity investors with capital partners, senior executives and other market participants.
The Texas Lawbook noted that Johnston is the fourth partner to join McGuireWoods’ Houston office this year, following recent additions of labor and employment partner Jason Huebinger and healthcare partners Janice Suchyta and Jonathan Ishee.
