McGuireWoods Adds Product Liability Litigator in Richmond

McGuireWoods LLP today announced that Diane Flannery has joined the firm’s product liability and mass torts group as a partner in Richmond.

Flannery, who previously served as a partner in Jones Day’s Atlanta office, brings to the firm 20 years of experience trying cases and managing litigation across the nation. She has represented a broad spectrum of consumer product companies and manufacturers on a wide array of issues, including class actions and domestic and international product recalls.

“Diane brings to the firm a depth of experience in complex, high-stakes tort litigation. She is a nationally recognized leader in the field,” said Tracy Walker, chair of the firm’s Product and Consumer Litigation Department. “We are thrilled to have her on our team.”

Flannery is a Litigation Counsel of America fellow and a master of the Lamar Inn of Court at Emory University School of Law. She is a former board member of the Georgia Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and has served on the board of trustees for the Junior League of Atlanta. She was also selected for the Georgia 100 Leadership Program and the Leadership Atlanta program. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Richmond, she earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1991. She is admitted to the Georgia bar and her admission to the Virginia bar is pending.
